God has kept me all these years. Has every day been peaches and cream? No, but I helped to make them hard too. One thing is for sure, I’m not quitting. I started on this road to glory and I’m going to make it.
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” I Cor 9(24-27)
I’m not beating the air. I’m not running in vain. I have a goal and that is a bi-prong goal, one, to get to Heaven, two to take as many people with me. It is really the only goal. I’m not going to be a castaway. I will make it.
“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9(62)

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Heb 10(38-39)
I’m not going back, I’m not quitting. There is nothing back in sin but sorrow and grief. I have no desire to turn back.
“For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Isa 50(7)
Just as Jesus made up His mind where He was going, so must and will I set my face a flint toward the Son of God, never turning, steadily marching and I shall not be ashamed. Who will be ashamed in that great and notable day? Who will hang their head in sorrow? I am determined to run on and win.
